Wait Behind this Line, 1 Page, 2017

Details from the one-page short story -slash- graphic poster about waiting forever, especially in relation to people with refugee status. The story was originally created in 2017 for an exhibition that Chicks on Comics was part of, was rejected and ended up in the publication ‚Synergy‘. Synergy is a collection of Chicks on Comics (one-page) stories around the themes ‚boat‘ and ’synergy‘, the artists reacting off of each others stories. A black and white version of the story later appeared in Kutlul #9, a zine celebrating bad humor, weird comics and the pure joy of drawing. Edited by Dirk Verschure (Berlin) and Joost Halbertsma (Rotterdam).
